Transporter Chain Guage

Transporter Chain Guage Transporter has developed a chain wear gauge specifically for the pitch of chain used on the transporter; approximately 254mm (10”) of chain is sampled. The gauge incorporates Vs for positive pin location at the fixed end and pointers for accurate pin centre positions at the other end.

The gauge is a simple but accurate method of determining if the chain is serviceable or is un-acceptable and must be replaced
